Rates

A physician's referral is not required to book an appointment.

Rate

Growing Minds Psychology’s rate is $230 per 50 minute session. Due to the nature of the treatment, and if the client is agreeable, it is recommended that treatment sessions are 75 minutes in length and are billed at $345 per session.

Fees for psychoeducational/psychological assessments depend on the scope of the assessment but generally start at $2250. Please note that assessment for autism spectrum disorder is not provided at this time.

For assessments, a deposit of $500 is required at the first appointment, and the balance is due at the feedback session. The assessment report will be released once final payment is received.

Dr. Lisa offers a limited number of spots at a reduced rate to help families get access to treatment who may not otherwise be able to afford it. Please contact Dr. Lisa for more information.

Insurance

Psychology services are not covered by Alberta Health Care, but your extended health care insurance plan may provide coverage for psychological services. Please contact your insurance provider directly to obtain information about coverage for psychological services. Growing Minds Psychology does not offer direct billing to insurance providers, but you will receive a receipt to submit for reimbursement.

Psychology services are a tax deductible medical expense, governed by the same rules as those applying to other medical expenses.

Payment

Cheque, cash, credit card, or e-transfer are accepted methods of payment. Payment must be made at the end of each appointment.

Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for all cancellations, otherwise you will be required to pay the full cost of the missed appointment. Please contact Growing Minds Psychology as soon as possible if you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment.
